The Gruber family’s farm

On the sunny side of Söll’s Bromberg, at around 1000 m altitude, the Köpfinghof has been owned by the Mayr family since 1975, when they purchased the property as a retirement property and also as a business. The panoramic view extends from the Kaiser to the Bavarian Alpine foothills and into the Inntal. Be amazed by the ‘Gruberhof’, the ‘Bergdoktor’s’ parental home, preferably in the close-ups in the TV series to ensure the inhabitants privacy is maintained. Or register with Wilder Kaiser tourist office in Söll for one of the guided tours to the ‘Gruber’s’ residence. It is not possible to drive in your own car on the private road to the filming location.
